This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to provide ninth-grade students with snacks to help them feel energized and focused throughout the school day. Many students come to class without having enough to eat, impacting their ability to focus, participate in class, and fully engage in their learning activities. By doing so, I hope to create a positive and supportive learning environment where all students are fueled for their day and ready to succeed. Providing snacks will support a positive school culture in which the students' health and well-being are prioritized. Focusing on their nutritional needs can create an environment that encourages community and mutual support.
