My Project

I’m starting a brand new project to create a welcoming, creative space for my students as their school counselor. Many of the students I work with benefit from hands-on activities and structured breaks, especially when dealing with big emotions, peer conflicts, or stress. To help support their emotional growth and learning, I’m collecting snacks and basic art supplies, specifically markers, crayons, construction paper, and whiteboards. These items may seem small, but they will make a huge difference in how students express themselves and stay engaged.

Your donation will help me build this space from the ground up.

My goal is to create a calm, inviting environment where students feel safe to open up, reflect, and grow, whether during individual counseling, small group activities, or classroom lessons. A healthy snack can help students focus during a tough day. Art supplies allow for creative expression and emotional processing, especially for students who may struggle to put their feelings into words. Whiteboards are especially useful for interactive activities and building social-emotional skills in a fun, low-pressure way.

My students are resilient, kind, and full of potential. Many come from diverse backgrounds and are learning to navigate not only academics but also major life transitions and emotional challenges. This project is about more than supplies; it is about creating moments of safety, creativity, and connection. Thank you for helping make that possible.
