it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
What makes my scholars special is that they have a passion to strive for their long-life learning. Their perseverance is out of this world because they have a heart of gold and always give it 100 percent. They are fully aware that it’s important in any new situation to question everything. They understand why things have been done a certain way, and because of that, they are eager to step out of the box and face challenges. Their strive to intake all that they have learned and implement it in their daily lives is an inspiration to all the teachers that have seen their growth and success.
My Project
Many students graze through the day enjoying a never-ending snack time. Snacks are good for kids because they help them stay focus at school and give them nutrients by keeping hunger at bay. These snacks already have a place in my classroom where students will have access to them throughout the day while we work on assignments. These variety of snacks can provide energy in the middle of the day and decrease their hunger. The snacks that we selected for this project were specifically selected by my classroom students. We brainstorm snacks such as variety juices, gold fish, variety of chips and cookies that will be helping in also promoting attendance and student engagement. I will be able to give out these variety of snacks as incentives for outstanding work and dedication throughout the day. Food can fuel the brain.
