My Students

I transferred to a new school within my district. And I have the best students! They were hesitant on their first day back, but, within minutes, their personalities started to shine through!

They are absolutely thrilled to be back at school.

I'm so proud of them for the way they are dedicated to social distance and use their masks/shields to maintain safety and good health!

I'm already feeling extremely grateful to be their teacher. These students are excited to be at school and are ready to learn!

My Project

This is the first year our district has moved to a four-day week. Our days are now longer. And with the chaos of COVID, sometimes we have to double up on math and reading lessons each day. My students need some fuel to make it through the day.

I hand out a snack for each student 1 to 2 times a day.

I feel strongly that if students have food in their bellies, they're able to focus and succeed!

I love my students very much and would love to be able to have snacks for them throughout the entirety of the year.
