This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My school serves a middle to low-income neighborhood in New York. I work with special education students in a self-contained classroom who come from many diverse backgrounds. My students are lively, talkative, and eager to do well in school. My students put first things first, and recognize the importance of a good education to help them succeed in life. I want them to have every opportunity to excel in the classroom so that they can reach their full potential. With the right materials, there is nothing they can't accomplish!
My Project
My students are always eager to bring their projects to life by printing pictures and information. Most of them do not have access to a color printer at home, and unfortunately we are not always able to provide this resource for them at school due to a lack of funds. Colored in is very expensive and it is usually up to us to replenish the supply.
This Ecotank printer offers a great solution to our problem as it has an inkwell that can last up to two years!
Even the replacement ink is not a fortune. The Ecotank printer also allows for wireless printing so my students can use their tablets to create their projects as well!
