Fuel My Passion Fire

I need to attend the National Physical Education Institute, so that I can be the most passionate educated teacher for my students.

My Students

My students attend a Title I school in the outskirts of a big city. Approximately 65% of my students receive a free or reduced lunch. My students are very diverse, creating an interest in many physical activities.

As a teacher, it is exciting to walk into a classroom where students are eager to learn any sport, lifetime activities, and physical fitness concepts.

I want to be able to teach using the most current strategies and best practices. My students need to learn about sports from around the world, so they can become culturally diverse.

My Project

The National Physical Education Institute is the best conference for Physical Education teachers. The conference is bringing international presenters who are recognized as the best of the best. I want to devote three days of my summer to learn and network with the best educators around.

My students need me to be the most passionate and well educated teacher.

I need to always keep up to date with best practices, new ideas, and ways to connect my students to being healthy for a lifetime. Learning never stops for students, and that means that learning never stops for teachers. When I stop learning, my students do not get the best physical education experience. Please send me on this educational trip!
