Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need full bellies to help them stay focused throughout the day. Many of my students do not come to school with snacks and do not enjoy the food that is offered to them at breakfast and lunch.

Having snacks that the students enjoy will help keep their brains fueled throughout the day.

I want to provide my students with snacks to help them succeed in their daily learning. As the weather gets colder, many of my students are cold since they do not have hats or gloves. I want to help my students stay warm on their walk to school to ensure that they come to school even when it's cold.

I also want to support my students with self-care. My student's favorite self-care activity is creating in the art center. We need paper for the students to express themselves with their various creations.
