Fuel for the Learner

My Project

A hungry student cannot focus and if he/she cannot focus they cannot learn. By helping provide snacks for my classroom you can help make sure they can come into the classroom and focus on the work to be done. My school is an 80% free and reduced lunch school and it is in a low income area. When the students come to school, they may get a free lunch but then need more access to fuel for energy to focus and learn. Many students don't eat breakfast at home, or don't have the home life to grab snacks at home. For many students the food in my room may be what they need for fuel for the day. I have a revolving door of kids asking for food on a regular basis.
