My students need school supplies in order to succeed in the essential turning point of 5th grade. Daily materials such as pencils and erasers will make everyday routines that much easier.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Above all else, my students are eager. Eager to make a difference and to be the best versions of themselves. They not only encourage one another, but they encourage me, as well. They are thinkers, problem solvers, dreamers, and innovators. But most importantly, they are the future.
Our school is located in a low income neighborhood, making purchasing school supplies a difficulty.
I would love to provide my students with a class set of supplies such as pencils, erasers, scissors, glue, markers, crayons, and colored pencils. However, our school budget can only go so far.
My Project
If you generously decide to donate to my cause, your donations will help my students complete everyday tasks such as note taking, literature analysis, creative art projects, essay writing, and math projects. Contributions to this fund will provide my students with pens, pencils, crayons, markers, erasers, highlighters, scissors, and glue sticks. These general school supplies add up to a costly fee and can become fiscally demanding for students and their families. Your donations will lift a burden from my students and provide them with the confidence and the access they need to succeed going into the new school year.
