Help me give my students fuel for focus! These students work hard and being a former student, I know how frustrating it is to try to do work while my stomach is empty!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school has minority students who come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. We are a Title I school. Students are hardworking, driven to break the poverty cycle through achievement in education. They are active in extracurricular activities, clubs such as FFA, and organizations and often have family and financial responsibilities. I would like to be able to give them the opportunity to experience agriculture in a school-based setting.
I teach the wildlife pathway through agricultural classes here.
My students learn about wildlife, fisheries, ecology management, range ecology, forestry, and woodland ecosystems.
My Project
Being a low income school, a lot of our students only eat during school hours. I would like to be able to reward students with something they actually need, which is snacks.
Not only will this help fuel the students to be better focused in class, it will also motivate them to work harder.
I will also use some of the snacks as rewards. If a students scores a 90 or above on a test, they will have the opportunity to go in the treasure box and pick a few of their favorites.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
