Fuel for Focus: Bridging Meal Gaps with Healthy School Snacks

Help me give my students with nourishment during long stretches between meals. Hunger makes it difficult for them to stay focused, but a snack in the morning or afternoon can help maintain their energy and attention in class.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their curiosity, resilience, and the joy they bring into the classroom every day. They come from diverse backgrounds and face different challenges, but they all share a hunger to learn, sometimes quite literally. Many of them arrive at school without having had a full meal, and by mid-morning or late afternoon, it becomes difficult for them to focus, participate, or stay engaged.

This project is designed to provide healthy snacks that will help bridge the long gaps between meals.

Each resource will nourish their bodies but also support their minds, helping them stay alert, energized, and ready to learn. A simple snack can make a big difference: it can turn frustration into focus, fatigue into participation, and help create a classroom where every student has a better chance to succeed.
