My students and I will use the requested hydroponic systems and seeds (fruits and vegetables) to experience a way of crop growing without using actual soil. We are starting to garden, so my students are learning about how to grow them but I also want them to be able to integrate the scientific method into this as well.
Growing plants on the outside may seem easy but I want my students to go deeper and hypothesize why and if the alternative method of farming is import for our futures.
