This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are eager to learn about the world and the diverse stories that shape it. As their teacher and coach, I strive to provide them with experiences that not only broaden their horizons but also deepen their compassion for others.
This year, I want to give my students the opportunity to explore the realities that immigrants face in their journeys to America for a better life.
By sharing a meaningful book with them, we can open the door to understanding resilience, sacrifice, and hope.
Your support will help us provide this resource, enabling my students to connect with these stories and inspire meaningful discussions about empathy and perseverance. Every contribution brings us closer to equipping these bright young minds with the tools to build a more inclusive future.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference in their learning journey. Together, we can empower the next generation of compassionate leaders.
