My Project
I teach in an EC (Exceptional Children) resource classroom for students in grades K–4 with a wide range of learning needs. In my room, small-group instruction, focused work time, and individualized support happen every day—and having a safe, supportive learning space is essential.
Right now, the chairs in my classroom are old, worn out, and not the right size for many of my students.
Some are too large for my younger learners, while others are unstable or uncomfortable, making it difficult for students to sit properly and focus during lessons.
With this project, I’m requesting a set of new, standard classroom chairs that are appropriately sized for elementary students. These updated chairs will provide my students with the comfort and support they need to stay engaged, whether they're working independently or participating in small groups.
New chairs may seem like a small thing, but for my students, they make a big difference. Your support will help create a classroom that’s more functional, safe, and welcoming for all learners. Thank you for helping me meet the needs of every child who enters my room!
