My Project

Hi there!

My name is Mrs. Loftis, and I am a 4th grade Science teacher in East Texas.

I love teaching 4th graders! Each of them have a creative and unique outlook on the world we live in, and they have brilliant imaginations, too. They show love and kindness with all of their hearts as well. I love my "awesome possums"!

I am writing to respectfully request a donation of an iPad to support and enhance my teaching capabilities in the classroom. As a teacher in a low-income community, I work daily to provide a quality education to students who often lack access to resources and technology. Our school is committed to bridging the opportunity gap, but our funding is limited. With the addition of an iPad, I would be able to access more dynamic tools to support student learning, improve lesson delivery, and incorporate innovative educational apps that support a range of learning styles and needs.

An iPad would also allow me to better track student progress, engage students with interactive content, and utilize tools like digital whiteboards, video creation, and real-time collaboration. These capabilities would significantly enrich the learning experience for my students and support their academic growth.
