This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach kindergarten through 5th grade art at an amazing school full of creative students who need a place to make their ideas a reality. Having a sketchbook to use during the creative thinking and planning time helps organize thoughts and get them ready for the making part of the artistic process. Please consider helping students gather their thoughts with sketchbooks. Art is like a melting pot of subjects and what I see is students let loose from the typical classroom setting and let their creativity fly. Help our students unleash their ideas and make them a reality!
