Help me give my students the world via technology and the Microsoft Surface Go For Education. I'm always trying to find ways to give my students every opportunity to be prepared for the next level.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is filled with bright and talented individuals. It is a diverse and multi-cultural school that offers a bilingual program as well as being a silver medal STEAM school.
Our students are from a low socioeconomic area with many immigrant families.
We work tirelessly to not only ensure all our students learn and grow every day while creating a social culture that puts education first. We also create a positive atmosphere with a strong push towards project based learning that will lead to increased creativity and learning.
My Project
As a teacher, we try to provide the world for our students. I LOVE preparing my students for the future whether they are in 2nd or in 5th. Technology is such an integral part of everything they do and I want to put in their hands so they can EXPLORE, DISCOVER, and PRODUCE.
Microsoft Surface Go for Education is just the program that could help my students.
I have limited access to computers at my school and would love to build a technologically driven class where students learn to use the computers to make stories come alive, have science exploration days where they can talk with an astronaut or do exploration stations based on content covered in class.
My 2nd graders have learned how to use Microsoft Word and Power Point. The 5th graders have made Presentations and learned to embed videos. I can't imagine how much further I could lead them by having this type of technology in the classroom.
