My Students
I teach a wonderful group of preschoolers! Eight of my students have special needs and ten of my students are general education students. Every one of my students is unique and able to learn!
Some students enter VPK already knowing their colors or shapes.
However, quite often I get students that can’t remove a lid from a marker, or who can’t draw a circle. Because of this, it is essential that I equip my classroom with the materials that will help my students succeed! In fact, without proper materials to engage students in learning, many students will begin their education with a disadvantage. I can’t let this happen. I’ve been notified that next school year I will be teaching in a classroom instead of a portable. I am so thankful! So, I know the perfect item to enhance my circle time and engage my students in learning. The Lakeshore Circle Time Center Chart is what my new room needs! My Project
The circle time Learning Chart provides the platform to teach students to count using one-to-one correspondence. The chart also displays a child friendly display to post the date and day of the week, This chart is colorful, durable, as it assists the teacher in engaging students as they learn numbers, letters, rhyming words, colors, etc.
The metal container that holds paint cups allows an efficient way to provide a daily selection of paint colors for students to choose, from as they dive into creativity!
The students will be drawn to the art center when they realize they can experience art hands-on from start to finish!
