it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are imaginative, playful, and sociable. They deserve furniture on our playground that engages them in play. A mud oven can make a big difference in student learning by offering rich, hands-on experiences that go beyond traditional classroom activities.
A mud kitchen nurtures teamwork & collaboration-From gathering materials to baking the first loaf, students work together—sharing responsibilities, solving problems, and celebrating success as a group.
Using natural materials and learning creates a deep sensory experience that brings joy, builds confidence, and makes learning feel meaningful. Students will be engaged in real-world tasks like mixing, shaping, and cooking in a fun and memorable way.
