My Project
Our school is transitioning into a magnet school at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. Our theme will focus around Environmental Science and Humanities. I plan to use the hydroponics tower to start the students' learning process that will grow with them. I firmly believe that a hydroponic growing system in our new magnet school can be a tool for learning. This system will offer a unique opportunity for children to engage in hands-on learning. My children will be able to participate in every stage of the growing process, from planting the seed to harvesting the vegetables. Students will use the materials to grow food and learn about sustainability, with the hope of exposing them to farm-to-table. This will help my students foster an appreciation for the environment.
