My Project
My students are hardworking, inquisitive learners who thrive in a math classroom where they can actively engage with the content. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring different strengths to the table, which makes collaboration essential to our learning environment. Despite any challenges they may face outside the classroom, they consistently show up with curiosity and a willingness to learn, solve problems, and support one another.
Our math class uses various visual and hands-on resources to deepen understanding, from graphic organizers and foldables to games and student-created posters.
Having a color printer and ink in the classroom will allow me to create engaging, interactive math materials that are visually clear and more exciting for students to use. More importantly, it will allow students to print their work, such as graphs, group projects, and math journals, which encourages ownership and pride in what they produce.
The goal of this project is to make our math classroom more collaborative, creative, and accessible. With the ability to print in color, we can highlight important concepts, show real-world data in full detail, and bring math alive through visuals and student-led activities. This project will help remove barriers for students who may not have access to printing at home and will support a more inclusive, hands-on learning environment where every student can succeed.
