My Project
The Edmond Transition Academy provides students with disabilities, ages 18-22, an opportunity to grow and develop the skills necessary to become more independent in daily living, job-related skills, and social-emotional behavior. The items requested in this project will provide learning opportunities with real-world items that students will encounter outside of the school building. Students will be able to cook their own meals, learn to do laundry, practice necessary skills for maintaining a job, and more during their time at the Edmond Transition Academy. Our goal is to help each student live a as independently and accessibly as they can.
