Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are full of curiosity, creativity, and a genuine love for learning. Every day, they come to class eager to explore, collaborate, and grow. They thrive in spaces where they can move, engage hands-on, and express themselves freely.
To support their growth, I’m seeking to add flexible seating—specifically, bean bag chairs—and a treasure box filled with prizes to our classroom.
These additions will help create a more inviting, student-centered environment where all learners feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to succeed.
The bean bag chairs will offer cozy spots for reading, reflection, and creative thinking. For students who benefit from calm, relaxed spaces, this flexible seating option can improve focus and comfort—allowing them to choose where they work best.
The treasure box will serve as a fun, effective way to motivate and reward students. Whether they’re showing kindness, meeting academic goals, or putting in extra effort, students can earn small prizes that recognize and reinforce their positive behavior. This system promotes responsibility, boosts morale, and helps build a supportive classroom community.
This project will help:
