Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A child's first preschool experience should be fun, inviting, and nurturing. Children at this age learn best through play! I want to offer my students a fun, language rich, learning environment.
The students in my classroom are fun, active, loving children with a variety of special needs.
They never fail to surprise us with things they do at school; from saying a new word, to showing a new dance move during music and movement. Most of our students come from low income households where Spanish is the primary language spoken at home.
My Project
Our outdoor learning centers will finally have fresh new materials for our students to explore and play with. During school hours, our students will have free access to the blocks. We have a storage bin where we will be able to safely store our new blocks over night and on weekends.
The building blocks will be available for all our students to explore and play with during outdoor centers.
Learning will be continuous at our school! During outdoor centers our students will be able to continue working on all developmental areas. They will be working on problem solving skills, they will be able to express their creativity as they work with each other. The learning opportunities will be endless!!
