Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Pre-K and Kindergarten special needs students learn best through hands-on play, and pretend food toys are a fun, engaging way to build both imagination and essential fine motor skills. Some of the food items I'm requesting can be split apart and reattached, helping students strengthen their hand muscles, improve coordination, and understand important early concepts like whole and half. Each pretend meal is a chance for my students to practice coordination, problem-solving, and creativity.
