Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The snacks and supplies that have been requested will help my high school students make it through the rest of the school year. At this time of the year, classroom supplies like pencils and tissues are running low and the snack supply has been depleted.

My students are learning and growing, and they often struggle to make it throughout the long day however the snacks and supplies from this project will allow my students to finish the year strong.

My students get up early and have extended days at school. Many of my students stay after school for sports, clubs, or drama rehearsals. Hunger should not be the reason why my students are not able to fully participate in the school day. In addition, the lack of classroom supplies makes it hard for students to be successful if they are not able to take notes or have to keep running to the bathroom for tissues.
