This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of students who are curious, creative, and eager to explore the world around them. They come to school each day ready to learn, ask questions, and express themselves in new and exciting ways. What I love most about them is their resilience and their passion for learning—especially when they have the right tools to bring their ideas to life.

Our classroom is a vibrant, inclusive space in the Bronx where students from diverse backgrounds come together to grow academically and personally.

Many of my students face challenges outside of school, but inside our classroom, they find a safe, supportive environment where their voices are heard and their ideas matter. We focus on collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking, and I strive to make learning engaging and relevant to their lives.

With an iPad Air and Apple Pencil Pro, my students will be able to dive into interactive lessons, create digital art, annotate texts, and collaborate on multimedia projects. These tools will help them think critically, work creatively, and engage more deeply with the curriculum. Whether they’re sketching a science diagram, editing a video, or solving math problems with visual aids, this technology will open doors to learning that traditional tools simply can’t.

Your support will help bridge the digital divide and give my students the opportunity to learn in ways that are modern, meaningful, and fun.
