My class will be buzzing with excitement about our upcoming field trip to The Children’s Theater to see Elephant and Piggie’s “We Are in a Play!” To help them get the most out of this experience, I want to give them access to the full collection of Elephant and Piggie books by Mo Willems, along with the plush stuffed animals to help them follow along!
These hilarious and heartwarming stories are perfect for early readers and will give my students the chance to build fluency, confidence, and a love for reading—all while preparing to see their favorite characters come to life on stage.
