From Our Garden to Their Table: A Farm-to-Table Experience

My Project

At Pine Forest High School, the Agriculture Education Department and FFA are launching a Farm to Table Initiative to teach students the value of growing, preparing, and sharing fresh, local food. Through hands-on experiences in greenhouse gardening, raised beds, harvesting, and food distribution, students will gain real-world knowledge about sustainability, nutrition, and agriculture, while giving back to their community.

This project fosters self-reliance, environmental stewardship, and healthy living while strengthening ties between our students and the community they live in.
