From One Chapter to the Next: Fueling Our Reading Adventure

My Project
I love how passionate and curious my students can become about reading. After we finished the first book in The Mythics series, they were immediately asking for the next one — eager to see what happens next! Their excitement for reading is contagious, and it’s incredible to see them so invested in a story and its characters. My students are not only growing as readers, but also building a sense of community as they discuss theories, favorite moments, and predictions with each other. Their love for Lauren Magaziner’s books has created a buzz in our classroom, and I want to nurture that momentum.
The books I’m requesting will make a huge difference in sustaining my students' excitement for reading.
Having the next books in The Mythics series, along with other Lauren Magaziner titles, will give my students immediate access to stories they are excited about. Instead of waiting or losing interest, they’ll have the chance to keep the adventure going and deepen their love of reading. These books will also allow students to explore different genres, improve their reading stamina, and strengthen their comprehension skills — all while being genuinely excited to turn the next page.
My goal with this project is to keep my students motivated and engaged in their reading journey. They’ve discovered the magic of a great story, and I want to provide them with more opportunities to experience that joy.
