Laptops are the one-stop shop for special needs students who have a desire to use technology to its fullest. Our word is dependent on the use of technology, and the more exposure to it, the easier it becomes.
My autistic students have expressed a desire to use graphics and pictures to help them connect with their daily school academic curriculum.
I will be able to create more visual and technology-based lessons, and students will have opportunities to research, gather, and edit visual aids as they navigate the world in a way that makes sense to them.
