My Project
What I love most about my students is their incredible imagination, resilience, and desire to explore the world around them. They are thinkers, builders, and dreamers who thrive when given the tools to express themselves creatively. Each day, they come to class eager to learn and ready to tackle new challenges. They inspire me with their ideas and remind me that when given the right opportunities, students can accomplish amazing things.
A Glowforge will make a powerful difference in our classroom by transforming how we learn and create.
It will allow students to take their digital designs and bring them to life with precision and professionalism. Whether crafting custom puzzles in math, designing models in science, or creating meaningful art pieces, this tool will open doors to hands-on learning and cross-curricular projects. It will also help develop essential skills like problem-solving, design thinking, and collaboration—skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.
Our project goal is to integrate the Glowforge into student-led projects that emphasize creativity, innovation, and real-world application. We want to foster an environment where students feel empowered to take ownership of their learning and proudly showcase what they’ve built. By incorporating design and fabrication into our curriculum, we’ll be helping our students become not only better learners, but confident creators prepared for the future. With your support, we can turn this vision into a reality.
