From Gym to Garden Paradise

Help me give my students a night to remember! Prom is one of those times that people remember about their high school career for years. Help me decorate our gym and turn into a magical and elegant garden.

My Project

My students come from a low income area and have had limited opportunities to experience "traditional" high school opportunities from the pandemic. We are trying to get back to the norm and one of those ways is through prom. My students have been so eager and engaged while planning prom. They have worked so hard to fundraise for their prom but have had difficulties from losing out on fundraising opportunities for the past few years.

Prom is an important event for the students that would allow them to show their individuality and handwork.

This year's theme is enchanted garden. With these items, my students will be to bring their garden to life.

My students are excited to show off their creativity and decorate and design the gym into a garden paradise. This "project" will also give them educational lessons to from color schemes, planning/designing concepts, time management and even some actual hands-on things like create arrangements and decor themselves.
