From Gas to Induction, Now We Are Cooking

Help me give my students induction cooktops to compare cooking with induction versus gas.

My Project

This academic year, I will be introducing 160 high school students to the fundamentals of good cooking. While our kitchen is stocked with many wonderful items, I would love to introduce them to cooking foods using induction. The portable cooktops I am requesting have received strong positive reviews, so they should hold up well in an academic setting. Students will have the opportunity to prepare soups and other stovetop cooking activities and compare the difference when using gas vs. induction. We will also be able to discuss gas vs induction in the context of energy efficiency, and the affects of both on the environment.
