My Project
Many students in our schools have not had the opportunity to grow fresh vegetables or fresh flowers. Hydroponic gardening has given us the opportunity to change this in schools. Fresh vegetables afford so many benefits, from nutritional value to self-confidence and the ability to meet their basic needs.
We would love to give our students the opportunity to experience indoor gardening and reap the benefits. By completing these projects at this time, this may encourage students to invest in a garden in their own homes/yards. The goal of the project is to expose students to new opportunities and experiences, while giving them to chance to learn about sustainability.
