Help me give my students Black Duck Heirloom seeds to enhance our school garden.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students have no experience the taste of a tomato growing on a vine. The Black Duck Vegetable Seeds, and Seed Starter Kits will help my students experience growing vegetables in our school garden.
School gardens offer numerous benefits, including promoting healthy eating habits, fostering academic achievement, and connecting students with nature.
They provide hands-on learning opportunities, encourage physical activity, and help students understand where their food comes from. Additionally, gardens can boost student engagement, improve nutrition, and strengthen community ties.
This project will also provide my students with a sense of enjoyment of plants and other forms of nature.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
