This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day we start with an "insta inspiration" of motivational and encouraging quotes/biographies that shift thinking and perspectives that change the work and life of each student!
Many of my students dream of becoming doctors and moving their families out of the area they currently live in.
(just as in the biographies, We Beat the Streets). In our school spirit, we have a community that cheers each other on in their dreams to succeed!
My Project
As a result of the flash drives, students will be able to build current event presentations, college research, cultural background studies, and vision board projects by working on the school computers and saving their material on the flash drive for projection and ownership.
The books will allow the students to grow in their reading and practice at home, allowing for a more productive use of class time and discussions.
Coupled with the flash drives, they can continue their work at school at the library or at home and be ready for growing revisions!
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
