This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their energy, creativity, and willingness to grow. They come to class each day ready to take on challenges, support one another, and engage with new ideas. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch them build confidence and pride in their learning.

The supplies I’m requesting—markers, marker cleaning solution, different types of lead for mechanical pencils, clipboards, scissors, colored pencils, rulers, and glue sticks, will support my students in finishing the school year strong.

These resources will allow them to fully participate in hands-on activities, complete interactive lessons, and bring their ideas to life through creative projects and group work.

Equally important, these materials will help set up next year’s students for success from day one. Having a well-stocked classroom allows us to start the year with high expectations and full participation, without delays caused by a lack of basic supplies. It means every student, regardless of background, can engage in learning right away, with the tools they need to express themselves, solve problems, and collaborate with their peers.

These resources aren’t just items, they’re opportunities to spark learning, boost confidence, and build community, now and into the new academic year.
