Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These resources—SEL books, calming tools, sensory items, and art supplies—will help me teach them how to manage their emotions, build self-confidence, and navigate friendships. Every item will support their emotional growth and help create a space where healing and learning go hand in hand.
My students are brave, beautiful souls carrying more than most kids their age should.
I love how resilient, curious, and full of heart they are, even when facing tough challenges. Many come from low-income homes and deserve a space where they feel safe, valued, and understood.
