My Project
Every day, I get the honor of teaching some of the most creative, resilient, and hilarious kids you’ll ever meet. They come to school with big hearts, big dreams, and sometimes—big messes! Our classroom is a second home for many of them. It’s where they take risks, make mistakes, celebrate wins, and learn how to be kind, thoughtful humans. And just like any home, when our space is clean, fresh, and welcoming, everything else feels a little bit easier.
A clean, healthy classroom helps my students breathe easier, focus better, and feel truly at home.
With a vacuum, broom, and dustpan, we’ll be able to keep our space tidy—not just for appearance, but to support mental clarity, physical health, and a shared sense of pride. The air purifier will create a calmer, fresher environment, especially for students who struggle with allergies or sensory overwhelm. And the rolling stool? It’s more than convenience—it’s mobility with purpose. I’ll be able to glide from group to group, getting eye-level with students, supporting them where they are, and strengthening connections that matter.
The erasable pens and markers may seem small, but in our room, they’re tools for bravery. My students will write, revise, and try again—without fear of messing up. We treat mistakes as steps forward, and these supplies give them the freedom to take risks and grow.
This might look like a random mix of items, but together, they create something powerful: a learning space that feels safe, supported, and full of potential.
