This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Plain walls are boring! We need backing paper, chart paper, and sentence strips to make our classroom totally awesome for learning! Teachers receive money through Teachers Choice, but it is only a small amount.

I teach third grade special eduction in a Title I school.

Staring at four white walls all day doesn't make me excited. Imagine how a bunch of 8 year olds must feel! A bright and cheery classroom environment will make the students more eager to learn and participate in the classroom community. Throughout the school year, things accidentally rip, and replacing the border and paper can become a very expensive task.

My Project

I am requesting an assortment of backing paper and chart tablets to create an inviting and friendly classroom environment for my young learners with special needs. Students will special needs require clean and neat bulletin boards in the classroom in order for them to succeed and become excited about learning. My visual learners need chart paper as a reference to reinforce skills taught in class.

These supplies will ensure that my low functioning students start off the new year BRIGHT and successful!

Classroom bulletin board paper and border can be quite costly. My students love when we change the bulletin boards in our classroom to display work that they have created and know my students will thrive in their totally awesome classroom with these materials.
