My Project

My third grade students are curious, energetic, and full of potential. They come to school ready to learn, but not all of them learn the same way and that’s okay! I want to create a classroom that embraces their differences by offering flexible seating options that allow them to choose how and where they learn best.

Right now, our classroom is filled with traditional desks and chairs.

While these work for some students, others need more movement, comfort, or personal space to stay focused and engaged. With your support, I hope to provide a variety of flexible seating options such as wobble stools, cushions, floor seats, lap desks, and standing workstations.

Flexible seating empowers students to take charge of their own learning. It helps them stay engaged, improves focus, and encourages collaboration. It also supports students with ADHD, sensory needs, and different learning styles, giving every child a better chance to succeed.

This project provides seating that supports active learning and movement, comfortable spaces for reading, writing, and group work, and tools that help students stay focused and feel in control of their environment.
