This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These novel study books will allow my students to truly enjoy reading while strengthening their English Language Arts skills. Through engaging stories and relatable characters, students will practice key skills like reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and critical thinking, all in a way that feels fun and meaningful.

The novels will be used for group discussions, written responses, and creative projects, helping students connect with the text on a deeper level.

By combining enjoyment with skill-building, these books will support both academic growth and a lifelong love of reading. This project aims to deepen students' understanding of literature by encouraging thoughtful discussions, enhancing their ability to analyze characters and themes, and fostering collaborative learning. Through shared reading experiences, students will build confidence in expressing their ideas, improve their listening and speaking skills, and learn to respect diverse perspectives, all while working together in a supportive classroom community.
