Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After our classroom carpet was removed during recent flooring updates, students have had to sit on hard tile during group activities, reading, and discussions. This has made learning uncomfortable, distracting, and less engaging. We are requesting a large, soft, and durable carpet to create a more inviting and flexible learning space. In addition, a classroom floor sweeper will help us keep the area clean. It will also teach students accountability and responsibility while supporting our hardworking custodial staff in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all learners every day.
