My Project
Imagine walking into a classroom where everything has a place and is organized. That is what I try to create in my classroom environment.
Too often in cluttered classrooms, valuable time is lost for instruction as students are searching, navigating or asking their teacher where something is or belongs.
The items that I have listed in this project, are going to help make sure students know exactly where to find items so no instructional time is lost. The acrylic hanging folder bins will serve as student mailboxes that they can check daily for graded assignments, paperwork and flyers. I will also use the hanging folder as their turn in bin. This will help me as the teacher be able to quickly see who is missing an assignment and give feedback quickly on assignments for each student. The rolling shelf will serve as a student zone with pencils, glue sticks, scissors and more. If students need anything during the day, they can quickly access it without losing instructional time. The mesh bags will be used for students weekly word study / spelling words. This will help students keep track of their words until they get glued in their notebooks. The larger mesh bags will be used for math games that students can grab quickly during rotations. These bags will help make sure that game pieces and boards can be kept organized for daily use.
