My Project
Our students with disabilities are learning essential life skills that will help them become more independent and confident. One of the most engaging and effective ways we teach these skills is through cooking.
To make these lessons possible, we are asking for basic but important kitchen tools: cookie sheets, mixing bowls, safety knives, towels, a dish drying rack, and a waffle maker.
These items will help our students safely practice measuring, mixing, cutting, baking, and cleaning up — all while building motor skills, following directions, and working together as a team.
Cooking activities are not just fun — they are powerful teaching tools. With your support, our classroom will continue to transform into a space where students learn how to care for themselves, gain confidence, and prepare for real-world situations. Every item will help turn our kitchen lessons into meaningful experiences that empower our students for life beyond the classroom.
