it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to support our girls to go through the process of experiencing their first period go smoothly.
By providing them kits with the necessary information and supplies that they will need during their periods.
Teaching upper grades in elementary school means to be aware that girls will experience changes in their bodies often before boys do. Also, it means to be sensitive about their needs and feelings.
Experiencing menstruation is not something anybody wants to talk about, but it’s necessary for our young girls to feel safe and comfortable.
