From Bits to Brilliance - Learning by Doing

My Students

Technology is changing the world we live in. Let's give our children the advantage by learning how it works. Let's inspire them to open the doors of tomorrow by to creating and innovating inventions of their own. Let's give them a place to experiment...to learn by doing.

My students range in age from 2nd to 8th grade.

They are motivated to learn and create projects of their own. Our School is a public charter school who's mission is to partner with parents to inspire each student to think critically, communicate effectively, and achieve success by providing academic options.

My Project

These resources will be used in a multitude of ways. For the younger grades, building simple machines that have a pre-existing programming script they would apply to the machine they have built. They would make minor changes to the script to see how it effects the functionality of the machine. They would have a purely kinesthetic experience how "code" mixed with engineering can help them create the next great invention. For the older students, they would get to develop and build an invention from the ground up. They would have the opportunity to bring their ideas to life, from designing to making a project operational and fully functioning.

Help students have the opportunity to learn in a truly meaningful way...to learn by doing.

These donations would give us a simple way to build and reuse the same materials from day to day. Help them to discover a talent that could truly change the world we live in.
