My Project
BrainPOP is a digital subscription that delivers short, educational videos with no advertisements. BrainPOP helps build knowledge about important topics like Climate Change, Natural Disasters, Ecosystems, Famous Scientists and so much more.
Walt Disney- “Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children.”
Having access to BrainPOP's educational videos gives students the opportunity to tap into multiple modalities allowing students to develop their nonfiction reading work with agency and choice while growing their science content knowledge. We will use BrainPOP science videos to refine literacy skills such as note taking, synthesizing across multiple texts and identifying the main idea and supporting details. The animated videos spark meaningful conversations about ways to protect our planet and ignite a passion for science.
It's a joy and gift to spend my days with thirty-two academic scholars and kindness champions. Thank you for supporting my future STEM leaders!
