My Project
Please help me to give my student's the privilege of participating in watching the life cycle of a frog with this Grow a Frog kit. In addition to the kit, I want to give students a wide variety of both nonfiction and a few fictional texts about frogs.
This project will bring the experience of biology into the classroom and give my city students a true opportunity to get immersed in a true natural phenomenon they may not ever experience otherwise.
The wonder of the biological world should be available to all. However, life in the city can make that a bit more challenging. While seeing videos and pictures is a fine way to learn, this project brings science to a whole new level. I want my students to have the ability to see the beauty and awe of nature in our own classroom and in "real life"!
